What is UMRAH?
Umrah is an Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, that can be undertaken at any time of the year, unlike the Hajj, which has specific dates according to the Islamic lunar calendar. It is a highly recommended act of worship that involves performing a series of religious rituals. These include entering a state of spiritual purity (Ihram), performing a set of prayers, and undertaking specific rites such as the Tawaf, which involves circling the Kaaba seven times, and the Sa'i, which involves walking between the hills of Safa and Marwah. Although not obligatory, Umrah holds significant spiritual value and is considered a means of seeking closeness to Allah and attaining spiritual purification.

The serene atmosphere of the Grand Mosque, with fewer crowds than usual, allowed for peaceful prayers and deep reflection. Sharing this sacred time with loved ones, amidst the historic and spiritual ambiance of Mecca, brought us closer together and enriched our faith. The unexpected cold only enhanced the beauty and tranquility of our pilgrimage.
